A large abandoned flour mill in the Twin Cities. This mill has the
distinction of castle-like turrets atop its highest silo, although the
interior is fairly standard fare for abandoned grain mills.
I definitely need more photos of this place, and a better writeup. Give me a call if you want to go soon!
The interior of this one held employee lockers and breakrooms which
were still stocked with work boots, coveralls, soda machines, and personal
items. The spare parts room held lots of motors for milling machinery,
but for some reason was higher than the freight elevator's top floor. Unloading
equipment such as railcar shakers and trains jutted out over an empty parking
lot with missing rails, and abandoned belt-o-vators lay silent inside.
