Sometimes new tunnels in the Twin Cities have to go through other material than Sandstone. For large projects, TBMs or Tunnel Boring Machines are brough in. This one is a minature cousin of the machines used to dig such projects as the English Channel or the MSP light rail tunnels.

They left the keys in the mine train! We uh... definitely didn't drive it around... no, certainly not.

Aaaand, the TBM, also with the keys in it! We were going to drive it to someone's basement, but figured the workers would notice our 2ft/day getaway.
