History goes here.
This factory reminded me a lot of the cannery and mine ruins in Southeast Alaska where I grew up. Lots of 1920s steam equipment and huge machines, brick architecture, rusting metal, unidentifiable passages and rooms. We didn't spend a lot of time here due to having other things to check out, but we ended up talking to a local artist who had set up an easel and was creating a huge and very well rendered painting of the main equipment floor.
Some rooftop and exterior views of mysterious architecture.
The impressive main equipment floor, which I failed to photograph
very well. .
Some other interior shots from our brief forray to the roof and
back.
