When I heard about the EurOpex convention in Glasgow, I decided it was a good excuse to finally go see Europe. I was interested in seeing what Scotland had to offer, both because of its history and the similar climate to Southeastern Alaska. I was also interested in seeing other sites around the UK and Europe, and I was able to help organize a small group of people interested in seeing other areas after the main event. Despite a relatively small group and limited time, a lot of stuff was explored on and under the continent.
