The under construction building that we originally used to get into
the tunnels.
Entrance is no longer possible due to the temporary door being replaced.
Click here for a site about the work being done, and pics of the roof (at the bottom of the page)
Blueprints found (and left) at the site show the entrance to the tunnels
("utilidors") in the basement
Aside from the tunnels, the coolest part of the building was this
working network room:
Wow, vadding and hacking AT THE SAME TIME! (no we didn't do anything
with it, or any other equipment we found)
You can't actually get into the area with the computers, the photos
were taken through an air vent in a door.
Other stuff the basement had to offer:
Foundation work, abandoned chemistry labs, stacks of equipment and
spare parts, machinery, exposed wiring, etc.
I really liked this part of the exploration, since I got to see all the parts of a building that you normally never see, including the elevator shaft (pics didn't turn out), transformers, plumbing, wiring, aircon, etc. Very cool. Again, when exploring such places be sure never to damage or move anything, it pisses off the construction workers, alerts authorities to the presence of infiltrators, and is often dangerous. Just say no to vandalism.
